About our restaurant
Bori Pizzeria & Restaurant opened in March 2020, in the midst of the COVID pandemic, facing challenges no one was prepared for. We decided to adapt and take a new direction, establishing Bori Pizzeria & Restaurant within the Boróka Camp in the heart of the Bükk Mountains.
Nestled in a picturesque valley, under the shade of large trees and beside a babbling stream, we created a place where guests can enjoy freshly baked pizzas and homemade dishes in the tranquility of nature.
Our restaurant is suitable for events, team-building activities, and larger groups, but we also warmly welcome hikers. Traditional restaurant, rural atmosphere, delicious food. With its capacity, the restaurant is ideal for events, team-building, and accommodating larger groups.
You can choose between two event spaces:
- a spacious, elegant hall for up to 250 people
- a cozy private room for up to 150 people

By Car – Suggested Route and Parking
- Starting Point – begin from your location (e.g., nearby town or village) and turn onto the county road connecting the main roads toward Nagyvisnyó.
- Follow the signs toward Nagyvisnyó (or its vicinity).
- Once you enter Nagyvisnyó, look for Bánvölgye Street. The restaurant is at Bánvölgye út 1, likely near the entrance of the village.
- Parking is available in front of the restaurant, either on the street or in the designated lot (depending on the site conditions).
- If using GPS, enter: “Bori Pizzeria & Restaurant, Nagyvisnyó, Bánvölgye út 1”. Waze recognizes the location and provides directions here.
By Public Transport – Suggestions
As Nagyvisnyó is a small village, public transport options may be limited. We recommend the following general advice:
- Local buses – check for local or regional bus services that reach Nagyvisnyó. Routes usually start from nearby larger towns or county seats.
- Stop and walk – after getting off the bus in Nagyvisnyó, walk toward Bánvölgye Street. Walking within the village is generally easy, with relatively short distances.
- Combined travel – if the bus only reaches main points in the village, consider taking a taxi or local transport for the final stretch to reach the restaurant.
